Abco Engineering Hydraulics Ltd

Abco are a manufacturer and supplier of hydraulic equipment based in Nottinghamshire. Abco contacted Redcad to assist them in the design and development of a new adjustable pit jack.

3D layouts of the complete product were generated for reviews etc. Upon approval, a full package of the technical information required for manufacturing were released. The manufacture of the framework was facilitated by emailed DXF files to the subcontractor for laser cutting and pressing.

The completed sheet metal components were delivered direct to Abco where they were fabricated to the drawings; to assist the welding process the sheet metal brackets were designed with tabs and slots to enable jig less construction.

Painting and assembly of the items were the final stages to complete the manufacturing cycle before shipping the item to the new customers.
